Having studied film at the American University in Paris, as well as at City Varsity Multi Media School in Cape Town, Samkeliso Nxumalo has been working in the film and TV production industry for close to 15 years. Specialising in directing, and editing, he has a wealth of experience creating award winning films, and TV shows, that have been screened at international film festivals as well as broadcast on various TV channels across the Southern Africa region. In addition to his personal achievements, Samkeliso is also a sought after industry expert with a strong record of mentoring, and transferring skills to, up and coming filmmakers.
Winner of the Hoso Bunka Foundation Award, under the auspices of the internationally renowned Japan Prize, Welile Masuku is one of eSwatini’s leading Screenwriters and Producers. A trained Journalist who made screenwriting her life after completing a degree in the Dramatic Arts at the University of the Witwatersrand, Welile has been in the industry, writing screenplays and producing television content, for more than 10 years. She has a wealth of experience working in the film and TV industry in eSwatini, the Republic of South Africa and in International co-productions as Writer and Producer. Her credits include writing on Season 3 of the Drama series “Tsha Tsha”, Producing two films for Mzansi Magic and being the Headwriter and Showrunner of eSwatini TV’s first professionally made drama series “EKHAYA”.

Worked as the Producer on two films that were screened on M-NET’s “Mzansi Magic” Channel
Wrote and directed the film “BATJELE” which won a national arts and culture award for “Best Film,” and was also selected for screening at the African Diaspora film festival in New York
Wrote, directed, and produced the TV show “KANYE KANYE” which won a national arts and culture award for “Best Producer.”
Wrote and produced the TV show “WHAT’s THE BUZZ,” which won the Hoso Bunka Foundation Award under the auspices of the internationally acclaimed Japan Prize.
